Brother gave us stolen gift cards?

Ugh. So I received a $50 gift card to Applebees for christmas and then my parents gave me 2 $50 dollar American Express gift cards for my birthday. None of the cards work. I called my parents and let them know and they explained they had received the cards from my brother and just gave them to me for my birthday instead of going out to buy 2 more cards and paying the extra fees. So they told my brother (who is 26) and he said he has receipts. this was 5 days ago still no receipts and no gift cards. I called the company and they said the cards were never purchased or activated which means they are stolen. So he basically gave us stolen gift cards and sent us out into the world with stolen merchandise leaving us responsible. I am just sick of my brother he is a thief and drug addict. He has stolen everything from my parents and even tried to break into my apartment. I just feel like I need to cut ties at this point with him until he gets himself together. Am I wrong for wanting to cut ties with my only sibling? I don't want to watch him wilt away in his drug induced life. It isn't fair to me or my 2 year old daughter to watch him do this to himself and involve my parents and I in his thief stealing activities.

I have bronchitis but feel terrible =[?

I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me i had bronchitis but i feel terrible. My whole body feels tired my eyes feel puffy and big. I want to sleep and just relax but is that normal? My chest hurts when i breath i cough and my ribs hurt. I keep sneezing and blowing my nose. I've have bronchitis before but havent felt this bad? Im taking Azithromycin and prednisone is that whats making me feel so ugh? thank you for your help

Amoxicillan is a antibiotic and i believe Cetrizine is a decongestant.. Why do people call it "flip flopping" when a politician changes his/her mind?

I know there are times when politicians do flip flop to get votes(John Kerry) and times where politicians say different things to different crowds(John McLame) but sometimes people get different facts that cause them to change their minds about things. When politicians do it, even if it happens over a period of 8 years it is still called flip flopping. Fostering a 50 pound boxer who doesn't like my 10 pound Chi?

I have my permanent dog Goober who is a Boston Terrier, a foster named Felix who is a Chi/Dash-hound and tonight I received my other foster who is a 50 pound Boxer mix. I was told the Boxer (named Zeus) was great with other dogs. Felix likes to jump and is super high energy, and anytime he goes near Zeus, Zeus starts to growl. Zeus just came from a Mexican shelter last night, so maybe its all the new people/dogs/smells. I have put Zeus in the kitchen with a baby gate blocking them as I am afraid of one of my small dogs getting injured.. Do you have any tips on how to deal with this? Since the kitchen is blocked off, I can't let my other 2 dogs out to use the bathroom.. so just to go potty is a HUGE deal since I need to put everyone on leashes.. move the boxer to another room.. let my dogs out.. then change everything around again.

Avoiding Blisters From Karate?

I've been taking Shotokan cl for about 4 months now, I go to cl 3 times a week for an hour and a half. Ive noticed my feet becoming more rough and at time hurt the next day. Ive also noticed I get blister allot, sometimes the blisters look like they are healing, but as soon as I go to cl it either opens or another blister forms on top the the healed skin. We train barefoot on the wood floors, dance studio type floors. Ive tried using athletics tape and does not work, the tape sticks on for a while but then gets loose. Is there something I an use or do make my feet more tolerant and not form blisters ?

My iPod screen is blank?

How long will this ear infection last?

Have been having sinusitis problems off and on for a few months. On Sunday the 13th, I woke up around 2 am with severe pain in right ear. Nothing I did could ease the pain. Having no health insurance whatsoever, I decided the emergency room, urgent care or even a doctor would cost too much. I went to a minute clinic where they diagnosed me with acute sinusitis, acute bronchitis, and an inner ear infection. Started me on amoxicillin right away. Took my first dose sunday morning and continued from there. Now it is friday and I am still feeling like there is something going on. I don't have enough money to go back to see a doctor. I still feel pressure in the ear and an acute loss of hearing. I am a dog groomer and cannot be off work for a full week. I have been drinking plenty of water and OJ and taking tylenol every six hours. I want to get rid of this pressure in the ear. I am also a cyclist and have been out of training for almost a week. I need to get back on the bike due to a major event next month. Any suggestions on how I can release the pressure and get back on the bike? Thank you for all your answers.

Floor joist problem...HELP please!!?

Wishing for a 2010 baby, Sounds like to me that you have a sub-floor plywood problem. Since you can see the sub-floor plywood, the labor cost is going to be cheaper now to repair it. Also sounds to me that the previous owner didn`t use a shower curtain, which caused this problem. You an your hubby might have to replace the sub-floor plywood in the bathroom only. Or at least replace the plywood up against the tub. Use sub-floor glue when replacing the plywood. This will stop any squeak's later on. And I recommend you use 2 inch drywall screws to secure the plywood to the floor joist. This will also prevent 'squeaking' later on. You might have to add some lumber(extra floor joists) just next to the tub area. Note: If tiling the floor, use concrete board over 3/4 inch thick sub-floor plywood. If not tile, then what ever size sub-floor thickness you have now will do. Another suggestion; If replacing any carpet in your new home, screw the sub-floor plywood down with 2 inch screws every 8 inches on only the floor joists before installing new carpet. I "Hate" squeaking floors. Good luck with your new home and your new baby/baby`s. Hoped this helped. Doing most of the work yourself will save you money. + or - $500.00 labor,$500.00 material.

I use one thin Cotton Saddle Blanket and a Half Numnah its not really thick but i do this because i figure its more comfortable and soft for the horse. And My horses seem to prefer it. (it doesn't interfere with saddle fit)

My dog suffered from chocolate poisoning....?

This isnt really a question but I would just like everyone to know that chocolate really is very toxic to dogs. Last week, I was in the hospital having surgery. Since my husband was there with me, We hired a trusted dog sitter that we have used for years. We have never had any problems with her before. When I got home a couple days later, everything seemed normal. After a few hours of being home, I noticed my 3 year old, 10 pound mini dachshund was losing control of her bladder. She was peeing everywhere. I figured Id take her outside. Within 10 minutes of being out, she had rolled over onto her back and was shaking uncontrollably. My 1st reaction was that she got stung by a bee because she did the same thing last year when that happened. My husband went inside and got a benadryl for her. This did not help so we took her into the vet. The seizure lasted about 10 minutes. The vet didnt know what was going on but bloodwork and an exam came back normal. The vet sent us home and told us to just keep an eye on her. Come to find out, The dog sitter said that my dog had got into her purse and ate 2 Hershey bars. I called the Vet back and she said that the coma and death is usually caused by the seizures lasting too long and my poor dog wasnt to far from death. She is doing fine now, although she now weighs 12.3 pounds (2.3pound weight gain from the chocolate). Please, Never allow your dog to have ANY chocolate. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this.

Cloudy water in acquarium?

I just purchased a TopFin 2 gallon acquarium with air pump, undergravel filter, and light hood. I placed acquarium pebbles on the bottom, a sea shell, and a silk plant in it along with the reccommended dosage of water dechlorinator. After running the pump for a day, a bought 2 african dwarf frogs. The first day, the water was very clear. Now, the 2nd day, the water is quite foggy. I have the light on for 12 hours and then turn it off for 12 on the acquarium. The frogs seem to still be doing fine, but what is causing the water to become so foggy so quickly? I provided my frogs with 3 shrimp pellets on the first day and it doesn't seem to be making the water cloudy.

Fleur de sel is a special sea salt from France. It comes from Brittany and has a grayish color because of the minerals in it and tends to look wet. My husband is from Lebanon and I'm american. Why is he so mad at me that I won't go back there.?

I was very nervous about my travels to Lebanon for the first time to take our daughter to see his family. He promised it would be safe despite warnings from my friends and family. Could I join the military if I have had knee surgery?

I'm fourteen and have wanted to join the military since I Was 10, but I had an athletic injury where I tore my ACL, LCL and meniscus. I rehabbed it vigorously and it now feels better than my other knee. I still do exercises to keep it strong,and I am not hampered by it, but the doctor recommended I wear a knee brace for athletics but this is just a precaution and the doctor says the knee is better than ever. I really want this and would be heart broken to learn I didn't have a chance of getting in. Also, if there's anything I could do that would increase my chances of enlisting that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
