Can anyone help me with the Great Gatsby?

How do you interpret Daisy's comment, "I'm glad it's a girl. And I hope she'll be a fool -- that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool"? How does it apply to her and to the other female figures in the novel? Are girls the only ones who benefit from being fools in this world?
