Short story conflict--is it accurate?

On clothes in stores, such as Urban Outfitters, there is usually one of those heavy plastic tags on them that are impossible for a human to ripor even cut off. On the other hand, if the tag is just one of those paper ones that has a bar code on it, those do not even set off the alarm when you leave the store and walk through those security things. Also, there won't be an actual security camera out in plain sight. For example, in Target, they have all of these black circular things on the ceiling and some of them contain cameras in them.
