What are your thoughts on having electoral votes, delegate votes, and superdelegate votes?

The Bush's are corrupt- at least the younger ones. I've never trusted the Electoral College- what checks and balances do they have? I recently asked a question about this and received no satisfactory answers other than that the average American voter is seen to be too uninformed, by proponents. OK, that may be a legitimate argument except for one thing- if the majority of so called uninformed voters saw fit not to re-elect Bush for a second term and in view of all of the damage that he has done both here and abroad then I beg to differ. I think a healthy examination of this group is long over due.
