Looking for an oil exploration job...?

I currently have a bachelor's degree in geology with 5 years experience in the environmental consulting field. I am looking to get into the oil industry but everything on Monster says 5 years experience required and that is the least amount I see. How do I go about getting an entry-level job? I hear the industry is looking considering the current oil situation. Thanks!
