Can a brisk walk tone your ?

I bought the True Tone shoes, and as soon, as the weather gets back to normal will walk. I tried before the weather changed and did feel there was improvement. I don't expect much, as I weigh in your range and at 125 lbs. This was as a result of a low carb diet which took off over ten lbs in December. Walking every day is a good exercise. But don't overdo it and watch the blood pressure. The doctors don't know everything, as I had a preemie, due to poor advice and minimum cautions except to diet when I started at 111 lbs. Just take it easy and have a healthy baby. The rest will come off after baby arrives, and the two of you can share walks together and Baby and Me cles at the YMCA. So, take it easy, use your instincts, listen to yourself, if necessary, see another doctor, or call yours. If you don't like his/her advise, you know, take charge. But, above all, don't stress about weight or backsides or anything but the baby.
